Now Accepting Applications for the 2019 Presque Isle CPCU Society Chapter Scholarship

The Presque Isle CPCU Society Chapter is pleased to announce we will be awarding two $1,000 scholarships to students whose major represents one of the many disciplines from which the insurance industry draws employees.  Applicants must meet eligibility requirements and provide a 500 word essay. 

Presque Isle CPCU's Donate over $1000 to Urban University

Our annual Good Works meeting took place on May 14th where we heard about the program and mission of Erie City Mission's Urban University from RoseMarie Lackey.  RoseMarie Lackey has served at the Erie City Mission since 2007, first coming on board as their Volunteer Coordinator.  She initiated the resurgence of both women and children’s ministries and now serves solely as the Director of Youth Ministries.

Habitat for Humanity - Building to Help Families

On July 17th, 2018, several Presque Isle CPCU Society members volunteered for a day of hard work helping to build a home through the local Habitat for Humanity organization.  It is hard work, especially with the summer heat, but a lot of fun and worth it all to provide a new home for a family.  The home only takes a few weeks to build with all volunteers.  Getting to see the happy faces of the family members as they are presented with the key to the home is absolut
